Once you have the realization of this revelation in your heart and soul, here is your next best question;  is God pre, mid, or post economic activity as it relates to the next outpouring and ingathering? I traveled halfway across America to a small camp meeting to hear an Osage Indian speak these 9 words; "God is going to PREFUND His next great move".​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Interpretation; the economic logistics to the next move of God will be in place prior to the outpouring and ingathering; or God is a no show.  God has said, "build an economic order in preparation for an outpouring and ingathering". 

If we want a move of God - we will have to move WITH God!


God is NOT going to pour out His Spirit birthing multitudes into His Kingdom household only to have a host of modern day Pharisees & Sadducees turn the flock back out of the fold into the world to fend for themselves among the wolves of Babylon.


Dr. Martin Luther King said it quite well- "The gospel at its best redeems the whole man,  not only his soul but also his body;  not only his spiritual well being,but also his material well being.A religion that proclaims a concern for the souls of men and not EQUALLY concerned with the social and economic conditions that strangle and cripple them is a dry as dust religion!    In my evaluation, it is not only dry and dusty, but DEADLY!


Economic Evangelism is NOT just another Christian catch phrase. It embodies strategic, tactical, logistical revelation to engage this church generation within The Great Commission in this day and hour. Lord of the Host is now "employing" a Kingdom workforce to be "deployed" as a nameless, faceless, occupying governing army across every segment of society administrating both eternal/spiritual life & abundant/practical life.  By creating jobs, we employ AND deploy boots on the ground. By creating jobs, we ensure spiritual needs by evangelizing the workforce. By creating jobs, we ensure practical needs by delivering much needed goods and services into the marketplace. You don't need a Master's Degree in religion or economics to see how effective this BATTLE PLAN of LOVE is in meeting both our spiritual and practical needs.                                                                                                                                                               

The ecclesia wages WAR by meeting NEEDS... no bombs - no bullets - just brotherly love... which demands resources.

The warchest- the economic logistics- the heavenly supply line- the resource river-  to meet both spiritual and practical needs will be in place prior to the outpouring and ingathering.  Most of us are in our own little world doing our own little thing. The idea of a collective effort tobuild an economic order to the next great move of God simply does NOT fit into our lane or our theology. Who would have thought "employment" is the end time strategy to build regions of refuge in a doomed and dying world to take the nations for ChristA worldwide geopolitical economic war is being waged at this moment for territories and souls... the longer we wait, the more territory and souls are lost


​The ecclesia must now lead in a worldwide economic/cultural reformation to institutions leading to a worldwide spiritual revival to individuals. REFORMATION TO INSTITUTIONS -->  IS THE PRICE THAT MUST BE PAID -->  LEADING TO REVIVAL FOR INDIVIDUALS.  

​If we want a move of God,  we will have to move with God -- the cloud is moving --  the bar is being raised -- good is no longer good enough!


Summary, the reformation revival research concludes Rutherford County, NC is ground zero in the battle for the economic logistics to the next move of God. It is the history of our gold mining & minting industry throughout the southeastern USA- that sets the stage for a regional economic incentive. History is the key to scale a regional economic incentive into a worldwide move of God!  God is moving along historical venues leaving a spiritual roadmap for this church generation to follow.  Faith is like a muscle; the more you exercise it- the more it grows. God is not going to build His economic order for the next outpouring in the swamp of govt corruption. There will be a work of destruction before the work of construction takes place. This is a classic, textbook Jer 1:10 move of God - uproot, over throw, destroy, tear down the tranny of abusive, oppressive govt,Then build and plant a practical application of Kingdom govt... this is the roadmap to reformation revival to the nations.  "So Be It"





 





A countywide gala affair that brings the best of the host to the forefront for a few days of fanfare. A coin show, treasure hunt, common dig, panning for gold, a mule pull, guided tours of the mint, are all events that can be staged then. How about Bechtler Bucks-BB's as script?
Tourists could exchange dollars at established sites at a ratio of 1 to 1.25%. If a family had a $1000 to invest on vacation, they now have $1250. Corporate clients could be mailed BB’s as an incentive to vacate and do business in RC. There are several ways to pay for this exchange privilege. Is the code name given to this grassroots campaign of destiny driven economic development for Kingdom community growth centering on the gold mining and minting industry of the southeastern USA; coupled with the economic trend of heritage tourism. An economic trend is a cash wave. Positioning ourselves to ride the wave and enjoy the cash flow demands a strategy and team execution. 
Harvesting this historical asset is quite an entrepreneurial feat. Bringing history back to life with taste while bringing home the bacon will depend on our willingness to identify with and take ownership of our golden glory leading to future fame and fortune. Antiquity is a unique and rare treasure. By pooling together and pulling together we can realize a bonanza for both our prosperity and posterity. Our eureka moment awaits us!


Adlai Stevenson once said, “We can chart our future clearly and wisely when we know the path that has led to the present”. A look into the past…. In 1831 the barter system was still common practice due to the lack of specie (coin rather than paper money) in western NC. The situation was so severe a local legislator asked to postpone the collection of taxes in the area for one year. Although citizens had gold diggings, there was no local means of converting the natural resource into a convenient and credible commodity for trade. 
Having no assay office or branch mint, miners in the Southeast had to travel to Philadelphia to have their gold assayed.  It was a long, dangerous trip. If miners traded their gold locally for supplies, a dispute over the karat weight (purity) of the gold or the accuracy of the scales soon arose. Bankers and brokers alike would extract a discount to exchange raw gold for US coins.
The solution to the problem arrived in the person of Christopher Bechtler, watchmaker-jeweler-and pioneer mintmaster. By refining the natural resources of the region into coins of a standard weight and purity for the transaction of business, tremendous monetary relief for the entire southeastern USA was provided; at times Bechtler rivaled the US Mint in production of gold coins with many preferring Bechtler gold over US gold. In 1831 one man forged the resources of this region into a standard commodity of weight and purity. This standard was recognized and accepted by all asa means for trade.   • First gold strike in America occurred in central NC,  Cabarrus  County 1799
  • NC was first known as the “Golden State”, 1803-1860
  • NC was the sole producer of domestic gold to the US Mint for  25 years, 1804-1829
  • NC was the largest supplier of gold to the US Mint until 1848
  • Rutherford County was the geographic center of this gold  producing region- consequently, Christopher Bechtler began what was the          most important private mint in America.
  • This pioneer mint master minted the first $1 gold coin struck in America- 1832. Upon his arrival Bechtler quickly turned the foot hills community into a golden mecca. Folks came to Ruff’ton for miles around to have their diggings and pannings turned to  hard currency –

          gold coins and ingots. 

It is from this historical context that we can reclaim our identity and heritage as we rebuild our economic landscape. Below is a list of the features, advantages, and benefits of  HISTORY-our greatest asset.

History has proven itself within the marketplace of "destiny driven economic development".  Op GS is not a new idea-- the  trail  to success  has already been blazed. Harvesting  the synergy  of unity coupled with the dynamics of heritage tourism...  high paying mfg...  and new cottage industry...  is a very well balanced approach to job creation

The concept is simple- bring back a working mint to RC; design, mint and market silver & gold coins. Funnel the profits into a Small Business Advisory Council providing the venture capital, technical info, and a support team to insure the success of budding entrepreneurs. It is thru the multifaceted dimensions of individual expression that community health is insured. Acts 2:45 & 4:35, the word "need" is defined in the Greek as "employment". It is fair to say the first outreach of the first church was a campaign of economic development for job creation. How did this foster church growth? Bear in mind, the word "vocation" is derived from the Latin word "vocare" which literally means "a calling".   Our vocation/job​ is a "practical calling"...  facilitating

the Cultural Mandate (CM) branch of  Kingdom govt. CM opens hearts and minds to meet spiritual needs/Evangelical Mandate (EM).... therefore CM is a means to an end for EM.  Furthermore;  miraculous moves of God are always accompanied  by supernatural resources i.e.,

the move of God is always fused with a transfer of wealth, the spoils of war or job creation. 

 Any way you slice it...  IF GOD IS GUIDING - GOD IS PROVIDING !

Phase I: Reclaiming Our Past to Shape Our Future

The typical heritage tourist rambles around an area experiencing its culture and history, instead of focusing on major attractions. Tourists are    tired of fighting lines or traffic while on vacation. The rural communities where people can relax and recharge, where they can enjoy history and hospitality are the communities that will enjoy the economic boom of heritage tourism. A lot of rural areas have history, citizen groups are now cashing in on it. Local even regional incentives are being formed in a common effort to make life better. Collectively they upgrade the social economic environment conducive to individual expression. A few ideas:
Rutherford Refinery (RXR Mint) - bring back a working mint to RC. Minting was the first complex or composite industry requiring a highly specialized labor force of expert technicians for each aspect of production. The mint could operate Monday-Thursday on a production schedule, and on weekends offering guided tours. See appendix for coins copyrighted for production.
MintMasters Museum – showcasing the golden history of RC and NC. Visitors could mint or turn down a coin the same way Bechtler did.
Golden Guru- custom jewelry store specializing in coin jewelry coined at the RXR Mint.
Bechtler Mine Site- listed on the National Registry of historic sites, located approx 3 miles north of Rutherfordton on Hwy 221
Golden Mecca Restaurant- top of the line eatery
Gold Miners Inn- recalling the golden era of NC
Havilah Gardens- garden restaurant serving seasonal grub fixed the old fashioned way and served on tin plates. In Genesis 2, the Pishon River flowed thru Havilah; where there is gold.
Boom Town-  an incubator program birthing new business start ups. I could go on, but I think you get the point. Each endeavor listed above is an overall effort to reestablish both the identity and heritage of  RC as “The Golden Gateway of the South”. This is our claim to fame, it is unique, different and exclusively ours. In marketing terms this is our  brand,  our identity, it embodies our very soul !! 

**In addition to heritage tourism there are two other tourism trends that deserve mention. The first is eco-tourism centering on water, and wildlife as in Mother Nature. The Hickory Nut Gorge area has long since realized this niche and is doing quite well with their efforts. The second is agri-tourism; farms, livestock, nurseries, etc. Gardening is the #1 hobby in America, this trend offers us yet another tremendous opportunity.  

The "relocalization" of the food source thru community supported agriculture is of  great consideration to us all.
